The Premier League club Manchester City are reportedly willing to spend £60 million on Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish. However, the Midlands side are holding out for a higher fee and want at least £80m.

Manchester City and Aston Villa are far apart on the transfer of Jack Grealish. The clubs have agreed to a deal for £30 million, but it is not clear if the player wants to move.

The summer transfer season is open now that Euro 2024 and the Copa America are finished, giving Europe’s top clubs the opportunity to make an impact in the market. Check out the newest rumors below, then go here to view all of the official agreements.

Man City and Villa are at odds over Grealish’s transfer.

According to The Daily Mail, Manchester City are poised to launch a £75 million bid for Aston Villa star Jack Grealish, but his club will want £100 million.

City’s offer will contain add-ons, but Villa want their star player to remain, therefore it’s thought City will have to up their offer by £25 million in order for the Premier League club to accept it.

Villa will also make a £150,000-per-week offer to the midfielder in an effort to persuade him to remain.

Villa’s concerns haven’t deterred City, and Guardiola is aiming to conclude a deal for the 25-year-old as soon as possible.

There have been earlier rumors that Grealish’s contract contained a £100 million buyout option, but nonetheless, that seems to be the amount City will need to meet.

The article also claims that the Premier League champions are still interested in Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, who may cost up to £150 million.

City have already gained £50 million by selling peripheral players, on top of the £45 million earned with Leroy Sane’s transfer to Bayern Munich last season, and Bernardo Silva may possibly go to help raise cash.

– According to Eurosport, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba may decide on his future in 2024. Pogba’s current deal expires at that time, and despite Paris Saint-Germain making the Red Devils an offer worth about £45 million, he wants to leave his options open for the time being. This is partially owing to the 28-year-desire old’s to play for Real Madrid, and he understands that committing to another club may jeopardize his prospects of joining the club.
